Hey music fans, Shane Martin here. I am so excited to finally release this new project I’ve been working on for a while. It’s been a long creative process that I almost didn’t get to finish. I had studio time booked in Nashville back in mid-March when the pandemic started to hit the US. Driven to finish the project, I canceled my flight, rented a car and rode solo to Nashville. In the middle of recording, Minnesota went on lock down, but I made it home safe and sound with a handful of new songs. I wanted to release this CD in the Spring, but with everything shut down it was put on the back burner. Now it’s time to burn CD’s and release new music. Come on out and help me celebrate this compilation of songs called “Anywhere”! It’s a spirited mix of love found and lost, faith, looking back on good ol’ days and a salute to the American flag and our freedoms. Hope to see you there in a lawn chair at Le Musique Room Sept. 3rd!
Considering the journey Martin has been on these past years, and the dynamic relationship he’s developed with his ever-expanding fan base, who can fault him for being so excited and inspired? A Top 5 Finalist in the 2012 Texaco Country Showdown where he competed for “Best New Act in Country Music” at Nashville’s legendary Ryman Auditorium (hosted by LeAnn Rimes), Martin is now up to a breakneck pace of 175 regional shows per year. Martin’s live band is a group of talented veteran musicians that has performed at some of the top country music festivals in the country, including Moondance Country Jam, Rockwoods Jamfest and Winstock. The group has shared the stage with a wide variety of top artists, including Ronnie Dunn, Joe Nichols , Jerrod Niemann, David Nail, Josh Thompson, Easton Corbin, Greg Bates and Black Hawk.
