It may be cold and snowy right now, but in only five months we will be enjoying the warm sun during the 3rd annual Lakes Jam, a music event that brings even more culture and fun to the already great Brainerd Lakes Area!

Let’s break down some of the most popular attractions and highlight events happening during Lakes Jam.

 

The Brainerd International Raceway and Resort is one of the area’s entertainment hotspots and is also the host of Lakes Jam. This summer take in some exciting action by watching all kinds of top speed racing from drag racing to SuperBike racing, Brainerd International Raceway & Resort will not disappoint!

 

Brainerd International Raceway is one of the few race tracks with virtually unlimited camping available and a wide range of lodging opportunities. With 12 condominiums on track, 164 full-service RV sites and unlimited open camping, Brainerd International Raceway is a great place to stay nearby all of the action!

 

If you prefer to stay indoors, Brainerd International Raceway is also surrounded by more than 100 resorts, hotels, and beds and breakfasts such as the Northern Lights Casino, Hotel and Event Center. After an afternoon exploring the trails, cool off at the lake. With over 450 lakes around the Brainerd area there is never a shortage of water activities. From fishing to water skiing, tubing or kayaking, chances are there is a water activity you can enjoy. If you’re looking to stay in town, cool off at one of the Brainerd area’s three waterparks.

 

You can also meet one of Brainerd’s most famous residents and his blue ox, Babe, at Paul Bunyan Land. The park features rides and concessions, and is complete with unique buildings and displays so you truly feel like you are experiencing the legend of Paul Bunyan.
